I PASSED

Thursday 4th of Sept, my aunt’s birthday btw, I had an appointment at the DMV. I drove there with Sam and when we got there, we scanned the QR-code that you have to do if you have an appointment. So we did and nothing happened, and we didn’t really understand. The Driver Service lady said we were tooooooo early to check in, so we waited 15min. Did it again, but nothing happened. So we asked AGAIN, and they were like, yea, if you have a road test, you gotta do the OTHER QR-CODE. AHHH, it even said on the sign that the QR-code we did, excluded the road test check in. ANYWAYS. We checked in and waited.

Finally my turn, she just checked my blinkers and light, and we were ready to drive. De drove for like 10min max, and had a nice chat. No mistakes in the end and I passed the road test. The picture ON the driver license, is horrible, but I guess that’s what I look like HAHA.

Now I can finally drive again, without Sam! HURRAY!

OH DEER

I went with garbage this morning and I SAW DEEEERS. One mother and three of her little babies. (I walked, since I’m getting my walks in this month.) Luckily my legs are back to normal.

LOOOOONG HIKE

Last Thursday, 28th of August, father-in-law Joe and uncle-in-law Tom took me hiking. We went to Signal Point on Signal Mountain. It’s quite rocky, I didn’t expect that at all and we had to climb a little, so my legs and thighs are soooo sore today. I even slept all Friday, cause I was so tired. Also got blisters on each foot, so that wasn’t lovely. Anyways, I think I will try out the bike at the gym here today and see how that goes!

Alright, so what happened lately?

Not much to be honest. I took the knowledge test, failed one time and nailed the second one. So now I just gotta wait until Sam has time to come with me for a driving test.
Been into diamond art painting, google it and you will see how.

Oh, I went to Florida with Sheri, a short trip from Thursday morning to Monday morning in June. We got to stay at her step-mom’s place and it’s soooooooooo hot. I kid you not, but it’s nice!

I bought a waffle iron and made lots of waffles.

I have been to McKay’s, traded some books, but didn’t find any R.F Kuang books, so a little disappointed.

HIKING

New hiking shoes, bought on Amazon. Needed something with a nice bumpy heel on, all my other shoes are flat and not suitable for hiking.

First we went to Chester Frost park, where you can actually camp with your RVs, tents or rent an “igloo”. It’s no sun that day, so pictures look a little bit dark and sad.

Another hiking another day, we went to Greenway Park, where there is a big dog park but also a big area to walk in.

Then another hiking back at Chester Frost park, it’s also SUNNY!
